Patients are required to have a referral from a medical doctor in order to join the program.
Patients are seen by one of our medical doctors to determine eligibility for our diet program.
Patients with diabetes are signed up for group sessions with the MD, who specializes in diabetes management.
This helps patients gain a better understanding about:
changes in their diabetes throughout the diet,
how to manage it,
safely do intermittent fasting,
and support each other.

We offer consultations with our registered dietitian or naturopathic doctor, who is well versed in this diet protocol
to address in greater detail:
*specific questions about which foods to eat and what not to eat,
*create more individualized dietary plans, especially in cases where patients may have
sensitivities to multiple foods in the diet plan and/or are vegan or vegetarian
Dietitian and naturopathic services are not OHIP covered but may be covered by patients' extended benefits.
